HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

Health and Safety of Employees and those associated in our day to day activities of the group companies are given utmost importance. The company has evolved a robust HSE Policy.

The Management is committed to providing and maintaining safe and healthy workplace for all workers (Including contractors and volunteers), clients, visitors and the public. This would be achieved by adopting independent health and safety management system through active employee participation and work towards zero accident target through proactive approach by conducting risk assessments and mitigating all high risk activities.

Guidelines for First Aid for Burns, Chemical Spills, Adult Re-sustication, Care of Mental Health are displayed prominently and employees are educated on all these aspects periodically.

The company will comply with health and safety rules and regulations of Sultanate of Oman, and OSHA requirements to safeguard the health and safety of employees during day to day operations.

The company has a system of reporting and maintaining records of Loss Incidents and Loss Time Injury which are reviewed in every Management Meetings.

Health and Safety Objectives are to,

  • Eliminate or minimize work place hazards and risks as far as reasonably practicable
  • Ensure 100% compliance with legal requirements
  • Zero fatality in the project
  • Zero Loss Time Injury

Every employee has the obligation

  • To stop any unsafe situation or activity that is potentially dangerous to life and property.
  • To ensure that the environmental impacts are minimized.
  • To ensure that resource conservation is maximized.
  • To enable Hazardous Waste Management Facility to handle the wastes in a lawful manner.
  • To prevent accumulation of the wastes at points of generation.
  • To establish an administrative framework and recommend the necessary infrastructure to ensure proper collection, transport, recycle, recovery, treatment, storage and disposal of the solid wastes.
  • To minimize the health effects associated with solid waste handling and
  • To prevent an unsafe activity that is potentially dangerous to life and property

The Management has the obligation,

  • To ensure the technical reliability of the adopted technology in terms of safety, flexibility and sustainability under local conditions.
  • To prevent or minimize waste generation.
  • To ensure clean & Hygienic working environment.
  • Provision of appropriate infrastructure for ensuring healthy and safe work environment.
  • Prevent wasteful use of natural resources and minimize any hazardous impact of its activities on the ecological environment
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at every stage of waste handling as per ‘MECA’ standards.
